Failing To connect Empty Failing To connect

Hi, I can't connect to the server, i keep timing out on 'connecting to server'
I don't know if it is because i am in Britain or something, but if anyone has any help, please help, thank you. Wink

I don't believe the server is up 24/7. It's been down all day because minecraft.net was down. I've been having the same problem. I think they should have a simple announcement post to tell whether it's up or not.

Isn't Minecraft up again now and maybe I should be able to connect but I still cannot. Any more help?
